I'm a development professional with a focus on grant consulting  and donor communication services for nonprofits. Since 2020, I've raised $2,250,000+  from local, state, and federal government entities, and private, corporate, community and family foundations to support low-income and marginalized populations in the fields of visual arts, arts education, job training and workforce development, wildfire mitigation, and equity in education. Clients include: The Bishop's Ranch, Blue Stoop, Healthy Cities, Mychal's Learning Place, Art With Elders.

Grantseeking
  • Research, identify, and qualify prospects
  • Refresh boilerplate language or rewrite boilerplate language
  • Redesign, develop, and manage master grants calendar to track submissions
  • Write one-page fact sheets for five major programs to entice prospective funders
  • Build new budgets
  • Collaborate with program managers and finance department to understand need and capacity, as well as track information necessary for reporting
Impact and Evaluation
  • Redevelop survey and data-tracking to include impact, audience segmentation, and story collection 
  • Create new survey and data-tracking programs to better understand and communicate program impact to funders  
  • Evaluate data for all programs and create boilerplate impact and diversity language 
Donor Communications & Relations
  • Develop a quarterly Donor Newsletter program and wrote all content
  • Write all end of year donor reports and information decks, and collaborate on their design
  • Write all end of year and spring appeals, as well as post-event solicitations and one-off decks for various fundraising campaigns 
  • Collaborate on strategy for asks to major donors
